The King William IV is more than just a pub – it's a place for the whole community to come together. Pop in for a drink, bring the family, and be part of our new chapter.
The King William IV has been part of the fabric of Heydon village for generations. After a period of careful restoration and renovation, we've reopened our doors with renewed purpose – to be a welcoming home away from home for our local community and visitors alike.
Our team is passionate about great hospitality. We serve freshly prepared food using quality seasonal ingredients, alongside a carefully curated selection of real ales and wines. Whether you're here for a quiet drink, a family Sunday lunch, or a special occasion, we'll always make you feel welcome.

We're delighted to welcome Chef Jago to The King William IV.
Jago brings a wealth of experience from an exciting culinary career, having worked in professional kitchens where he has had the opportunity to cook for celebrities, high-profile guests and special events, as well as being part of award-winning culinary teams.
Passionate about fresh ingredients, bold flavours and beautifully presented food, Jago combines modern culinary techniques with the comfort and character of great British pub cooking. His style is also influenced by his international culinary background, bringing new flavours and ideas to the kitchen.
At The King William IV, Jago is looking forward to developing a fresh food identity for the pub, from seasonal menus and chef's specials to dishes inspired by different cultures, while working closely with the team and local community.
